Green Your Home


I read this interesting tips in this tiny book we got from Freedom and Fashion..
Some tips are interesting
and I just want to share with you all :)

1. Open Windows
The EPA reports that the air quality inside(where you spend about 90% of your time) can be worse than it is outside.
MS: Well,what if you live next to P.C.H? hahaha

2.Keep your Freezer full
Fill Voids with bags of ice and use less energy to keep things cold.
MS: I thought food would go bad if it is too full!
3.Buy green cleaners
Rid your home of fumy chemicals by using plant-based brands.
MS: EASY!
4. Save Face
Use bleach-free organic cotton ball.
MS: Cool? Hahahha I bet Asian will still use it! get it? They want to be white! ahahah

5. Air Dry
Hang or lined dry your clothes can save 4.4 pounds of carbon per load.

MS: And You can save electricity which also saves Polar bears too <3>
Plus it is better to dry your clothing.It's better for the textile and gain life for your clothing.
Yay for sustainability

6.Lose your shoes
We bring loads of toxins into our homes on our feet.Using doormat is good,but removing your sneakers altogher is even better.
MS: I think this is just so random..But grow up in Taiwan,we always takes off our shoes before we go in..so..i guess I'm doing goood !
7.Draw the curtains
The average person can save 25% on heat in the winter and air-conditioning in the summer by just adding window shades.
MS: WORD!
8.Sleep Soundly
You spend 1/3 of your life in bed.When it's time for new mattres.look for organic cittn and a fire barrier made of wool-not chemicals.Also,Sheets and Blankets made from natural materials
MS: Random but ok :)

I believe there are more than just those that can be more helpful.
But does has its point!
